Repatriation scheduled for Tuesday.

The repatriation ceremony for 24-year-old Sapper Steven Marshall is tentatively set for 2 p.m. Tuesday at CFB Trenton.

Sapper Marshall was killed while conducting a foot patrol approximately 10 km southwest of Kandahar City at approximately 4:30 p.m. Kandahar time Oct 30. Marshall was a member of the 1 Combat Engineer Regiment based in Edmonton, Alberta, and was serving as a member of the Task Force 3-09 Battle Group.

He was the 133rd member of Canada's military to die in Afghanistan since the mission began in 2002.
