The repairs to Durham Street in Colborne will be supervised by Greer Galloway Group Inc. following a June 30 decision of Cramahe Township Council.
Three engineering companies bid on the job. Greer Galloway’s bid was the lowest if the job stays close to the scheduled time allotted. Its bid was $16,250 plus $2,500 a week for the expected six weeks of construction. After six weeks the Greer Galloway hourly rates will apply. These were not available at council. Assuming a six-week project the total engineering cost would be $31,250.
G. D. Jewell bid $48,505 and D. M. Wills bid $58,310.
