ENSS in Brighton is one of 16 Kawartha Pine Ridge secondary schools offering a total of 14 specialist high school majors programs. The ENSS focus will be the arts. It will offer specialist programs in Music (vocal, instrumental, electronic), Art (fine art, graphic design), Drama (performance, technical theatre), and Dance (performance)
Specialist High Skills Majors (SHSMs) allow students to focus on a specific career path that matches their skills and interests. Students who complete their SHSM program receive a specialist designation on their secondary school diploma, as well as a record sheet listing all the sector-related courses and certifications they earned. The hands-on, practical SHSM programs include both classroom learning and cooperative education placements.
