Cramahe salutes top businesses

HD Supply and Hoselton Studio took the top Cramahe business honours in 2008. Their awards were made at a business meet and greet on March 31 zt the Keeler Centre.
In a press release following the event Cramahe’s Community Development Officer, Rebecca Goddard-Sarria stated, "Forty attendees, from all business sectors, enjoyed breakfast and several presentations along with the presentation of the 2008 New Business of the Year Award and the 2008 Business of the Year Award.
HD Supply Utilities was honoured as New Business of the Year for 2008 with the expansion of their existing business and the construction of their new 65,000 sq. ft. facility located on Purdy
Road in the new section of the Cramahe Industrial Park. Doug Sinclair, VP of Finance & Operations was on hand to receive the award presented by Cramahe Mayor Marc Coombs.
Business of the Year for 2008 went to Hoselton Studio Ltd. for their eco-community initiative, their efforts toward building a “greener” business and for their participation in the business community at several levels. Jan Hoselton, President, accepted the award from Cramahe Mayor Marc Coombs.
