Register now for Colborne High School Reunion

With plans now well in place the organizing committee of the Colborne High School Reunion is trying to contact all former students and staff from the school which close in 1962.

Excerpts from their promotion letter are posted below. The committee hopes it will attract the attention of more possible attendees to the August 1 celebration.

COLBORNE HIGH SCHOOL REUNION 2009

Dear Colborne High School Alumni:

This upcoming August Civic Weekend marks a major milestone as the Village of Colborne celebrates its 150th Anniversary. A host of activities are planned over the weekend and information on these celebrations may be accessed on line at www.visitcramahe.ca.

As part of these celebrations, Colborne High School will host the 4th reunion since the school closed in 1962. All former students, staff and family are invited to participate on a day of good fun.
DATE OF REUNION -- SATURDAY, AUGUST 1ST, 2009

2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. JOURNEY DOWN MEMORY LANE
Former High School view displays, memorabilia
reminisce with old friends
coffee & tea

BANQUET
5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Happy Hour
6:30 p.m. 3 course Buffet Dinner – followed
Rotary Room by a fun evening, awards, prizes,
Keeler Centre - 80 Division St. & local entertainment


The fee for the whole day is $35.00 per person – YOU MUST PRE-REGISTER.

For those of you only able to attend the afternoon event, you are not required to register. Entrance to the High School will be gained by paying a nominal fee of $5.00 per person at the door.

Our committee does not have an up-to-date mailing list, therefore, we must rely upon the email pipeline to spread the word.

The banquet hall is limited to 200 persons. We urge you to register quickly to be certain that your reservation is accepted. We can accommodate reserved tables of 8 persons.
