On Thursday, the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board approved a committee to select the namae for the new school being built in Cramahe. The names of the committee members were released on Friday. If you have an names to suggest, call one of the committee members and let them know.
Naming of the New Elementary School (Cramahe Township) – Ad Hoc Committee membership:
i)Cyndi Dickson, Trustee Representative (area in which the school will be located);
ii)Gordon Gilchrist, Trustee Representative (from another part of the jurisdiction);
iii)Steve Girardi, Superintendent of Student Achievement (area in which the school will be located and who will act as chairperson of the committee);
iv)Michele Adams, Principal of Castleton Public School and South Cramahe Public School, also Principal Designate;
v)Alison Osborne, Vice-principal of Castleton Public School and South Cramahe Public School;
vi)Greg Kidd, Communications Officer – Public and Corporate Affairs;
vii)Mike Filip, Parent Representative from Castleton Public School;
viii)Jody Ledgerwood, Parent Representative from South Cramahe Public School;
ix)Chance White, Student Representative from Castleton Public School;
x)Sadie Riopelle, Student Representative from South Cramahe Public School;
xi)John Rutherford, Community Representative from Castleton Public School;
xii)Cathy Galt, Community Representative from South Cramahe Public School.
