NORTHUMBERLAND-QUINTE WEST – Lou Rinaldi, M.P.P. for Northumberland-Quinte West, has been given new role and responsibilities as parliamentary assistant to the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing, Premier Dalton McGuinty announced today.
“I am honoured to have been chosen for this important role, and I thank Premier McGuinty for providing this new opportunity,” said M.P.P. Lou Rinaldi. “I look forward to working with Minister Watson at Municipal Affairs and Housing in my role as parliamentary assistant in the “Municipal Affairs” portfolio. My previous duties as Mayor of the Municipality of Brighton have provided a solid background for this new and exciting endeavour, and I’m thrilled to begin working with Minister Watson.”
“The past three years have been an extraordinary experience working with Minister Dombrowsky at OMAFRA,” said M.P.P. Rinaldi. “I thank the Minister and her staff for providing us the opportunity to work with such a wonderful team to position Ontario for a more prosperous future – ‘Change that’s Working’!”
“This new responsibility is very exciting, but, my number one priority will always be working for the people of Northumberland-Quinte West,” stated Rinaldi.
“For the past six years, our government has been helping to create jobs, strengthen the economy and improve the public services our families depend on,” said Premier McGuinty. “But there's still more to do and Lou Rinaldi in his new role will help us continue building opportunity for Ontario families.”
