Colborne 150th Chair, Pat Westrope has answered a question posed in Cramahe Now regarding the new gazebo.
The reader wrote - I had to leave before the official gazebo ceremonies were through (restless grandkids). Did they actually name it after someone, past or present, from the community, or will it be known simply as "the gazebo?"
Councillor Westrope replied -
The plaque reads " This gazebo commemorates the 150th. Anniversary of Colborne"
1859-2009
-"...for the pleasure and enjoyment of all.."
