Already $2 billion in funding is intended for shovel-ready projects in the province of Ontario, and the construction of these projects must be complete by March 31, 2009.
Funding is applicable to such projects as: temporary housing structures, community centers, community services and cultural infrastructure. Applications must be submitted by August 18, 2009.
