In a July 28 press release, Northumberland-Quinte West MPP Lou Rinaldi announced taht Northumberland-Quinte West residents will be able to obtain their health
card, driver's licence and vehicle registration all at one location,
beginning this fall.
Services at Port Hope, Brighton, Campbellford and Trenton locations will
soon be enhanced to offer most health card services, such as renewals.
Cobourg's ServiceOntario location will include driver & vehicle
licencing services, most health card services such as renewals, as well
as additional services including health card re-registration, MNR
services such as Outdoor cards, information referral, and other
services.
Mr. Rinaldi says, "These changes will give local residents access to more provincial
services than ever before, especially in rural communities. Close to 95
percent of all Ontarians will be within 10 kilometres of an integrated
ServiceOntario centre.
ServiceOntario is also making it easier for customers who use online
services. Now, customers can renew their vehicle registration sticker
online at www.ServiceOntario.ca and have it delivered within five
business days."
