Cramahe Now reader Diane Patterson sent us this story in the hopes of finding the budgie owners.
"A lovely budgie has been flying around our back deck for a week or so. It appears to be a house bird since it keeps hovering at the sliding doors as if it wants to come in. But when we make a move, it flies away. We leave it food and water.
We were wondering if anyone is missing a green-toned budgie in the area. We'll try to get it into a cage and hopefully someone's pet can return home. Our phone is 905-355-2966."
