Local man found in Little Lake

OPP Underwater Search and Recovery Unit (USRU) divers located the body of Cramahe Township resident, Paul Thomas Slater, in Little Lake on April 26.

A post mortem was conducted and the results are pending toxicological testing. Foul play is not suspected.

The investigation of Mr. Slater's disappearance and death is continuing under the direction of Detective Inspector Greg Walton of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB).

On Saturday, April 25, the Northumberland OPP announced it was continuing to investigate the circumstances into the disappearance of the 51 year old Lake Rd resident.

Mr. Slater was reported missing to police on April 23, 2009.
