Robins headed south

Cramahe Now reader John Stubbs adds his comments to the growing list of robin spotters:

Six robins joined the usual autumn bird visitors in our yard this frosty Thanksgiving morning. They looked in vain for the worms they found so easily in the summer. Too cold now. The robins spent the early morning here, then moved on.


We live a few kilometres north of Harold Harnden, so this is a heads up for him. Those robins may do a fly-by at his place on their way south.
